Ephesians 2 Tim Tebow Gators Scripture used for final game

With John 3:16, Tim Tebow showed love.

With Proverbs 3:5-6, he reminded everyone to trust.

To say goodbye to Gator Nation in Friday's 51-24 Sugar Bowl win over Cincinnati, the Florida quarterback followed the advice of his Ephesians 2:8-10 eye black -- "…for we are God's workmanship" – and put in some serious work.

The Tebow Cam has everyone talking about Ephesians 2:8:10, a good thing:

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8:10

Ephesians 2:8:...10 Tim Tebow writes Bible verses in his eye black.

Ephesians 2:8:10 was the verse Tim Tebow displayed in his eye black during the last game of his college career. The NFL does not allow players to write anything on their clothes or faces.

Tim Tebow does get everyone talking about the Bible. The Tebow cam proves the popularity of this young football player.

During the 2010 Sugar Bowl, Foxsports had a live Tebow Cam aired online. The Tebow cam was focused on him during the entire game.

Thanks to the Tebow cam, countless people read Ephesians 2:8:10.Tim Tebow brings positive attention to both Jesus and football. His passion for sports and life is contagious. Ephesians 2:8:10 is meaningful for Tim Tebow's last college game and for everyone starting a new year.

Hard work helps but it is our faith that makes everything possible. Hard work without faith often leads to exhaustion and disappointment. Faith fuels our finest work for the good of everyone.

The Tebow cam showed the world the importance of Ephesians 2:8:10 as the words are clearly reflected in this football player's life. After all, they enjoyed a 51-24 win over Cincinnati at the Sugar Bowl 2010.

Please feel free to comment and post your own thoughts about your faith.

Have a beautiful, blessed weekend!

Salvation is "not of works" according to Ephesians 2:9. "Not of works" means "Not of works." Works have no part in our salvation. Jesus Christ finished the work of salvation on the cross. We can be saved only by trusting His finished work on the cross. We can be saved only by trusting His finished work on the Cross. Why not trust Christ as your only hope of heaven? Then choose to serve Him and receive blessings, rewards, treasures in heaven, profit for eternity.

Please pray for Dr. Lindstrom's family.

If you have not trusted Christ as your Saviour, then you need to trust Him now! You will receive eternal life and the forgiveness of your sins the moment that you trust that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose again from the dead. He is your only hope of reaching heaven.

If you simply trust Jesus Christ as your Saviour, you can be sure before you die that you will be going to heaven.

I John 5:13 says, "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life."
